Smart Thinkers SSD aims to prepare young people in making the best life choices for themselves, their families and their communities. As a Youth-led Organization in Juba city, we aim to create a long lasting and positive impact on all of the community’s youth through our wide range of enrichment programs. We value honesty, respect, and responsibility - and go above and beyond to instill these values into the minds of our community’s youth.

Our History

In 2019, Moses Yomoi set out to make a difference in the lives of youth all over Africa by providing them all the tools, and support they need in order to shape them into the leaders of tomorrow.Initially, it was never forseen to be a project as it is now, starting with only Liberia. And the founder in South Sudan, Michael Julius Emilio was motivated and founded the project in the country, to be the second batch of Smart Thinkers in Africa.

At Smart Thinkers SSD, we believe that youth are the very essence of the future. Who they are tomorrow is essentially the outcome of how they are raised and nurtured today. We go above and beyond to provide our youth an empowering environment where they can fully embrace their identity and gain all the skills they need to be leaders tomorrow and most importantly, independent Thinkers, confident leaders and autonomy decision makers. Ourgoals are to shape the way they live their lives and teach them the fundamentals of social responsibility, healthy living and cultural acceptance.
